My friend Simon Depledge has decided to do a video journal of his six months in Japan.
Here’s the wonderfully lyrical intro video – don’t forget to click through and subscribe to Simon’s YouTube Channel.
It’s the little things Simon highlights that interest me. The quirky differences in technology and cultural focus that cumulatively suggest the strangeness of being in a different country.

Just quickly passing by to say hi and to say sorry that I have not been here for such a long time
Hi Monique – sorry I haven’t been at yours either! I’ve been focusing on podcasts and the design side of things and haven’t been doing much pure blogging.
Odd, for a writer. Not really sure why. I think because I’d rather produce a piece of audio of something than do a blog post – these posts all seem to end up being about things I’ve just seen as I wander round the internet.
Perhaps at some point I’ll get back into the “pure blogging” and actually write substantial posts!
