We’re doing a bit of experimentation over at Vexation Audio right now with our Vexation Audio Community site.

This uses the new WordPress uber plugin “BuddyPress” – which is basically a social networking application that turns your WordPress blog into a platform not unlike a mini Facebook.

Hoping some folks will pop over to the VA Community site and sign up! Would appreciate having as many people testing things as possible, so do join us. Create an account, play around, see what the plugin can do!

Not bad – and it means anyone can now play as the Klingon or Ferengi characters they released through the store. Still unsure as to why they released these so soon after launch – since it inevitably led to people saying “these should’ve been released with the core game”.

Problem solved now anyway. Cryptic gets a couple of xp points for this

Part Time Gamers Show Four.

Mat has been to the shop to buy more rubbish games he’ll never play while Rik has got him playing Star Trek Online by virtue of the Hailing Frequency competition (Rik won the prize of a Deluxe Edition, gave it to Mat, and watched him totally ignore all the bonus goodies – and he’s really annoyed about it – but hasn’t said anything).

We mess about in game and give our impressions. We also try to explore (ie; go somewhere without a mission!) Does the game support this radical concept? Listen in to find out!
