TEMPER_A5_Flyer_v3_Page_1Temper is a stage play that premièred as part of the 24:7 Theatre Festival in 2013.

Here’s the blurb:

An oblique look at modern loving and loathing set in darkest Oldham. Temper tells the story of Calum, a young man struggling to adapt to a hostile world, and Debs, the woman who may hold the key to his escape…

The play was well received but I don’t think live theatre production is something I will do again. Although there are great experiences to be had – direct connection with an audience, seeing what works and what doesn’t in the moment – to my brain spending six months writing and producing something that can only be seen for one week if you happen to be in Manchester doesn’t compute. Not when you can put things online instead.
